Believe In Yourself...

What a journey the past three years of marriage have been!  Brandon and I had our first dance on the day we said I do to the song "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts and to this day the words still are perfect for our relationship....

"My wish for you
Is that this life becomes all that you want it to
Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small
You never need to carry more than you can hold
And while you're out there gettin' where you're gettin' to I hope you know somebody loves you
And wants the same things too
Yeah, this is my wish"

It's not uncommon to find us in our day riding in the car, walking the block, or sitting in the house just building our dreams and goals together.  I have found that through the years Brandon's strengths are usually my weaknesses.  He leads our family and fills in the gaps right where it's needed.  He is the best leader our family could ask for!! And what's really cool to see is how the longer we're together the more we become alike.  Our dreams and goals continue to line up with one another!!  We've talked often about what kind of house we wanted to be in, what cars we love, trips we want to take, friends we want to have forever, who can we serve, who can we bless, and where does God want us to be. And it's so crazy that Brandon can get job offers all over but we know our life is here in Greenville and this is exactly where we are supposed to be.  So with our life lined up together it has made all of our decisions so much easier.

We've talked and dreamed about children....How many do we want? Boy or Girl first? Names? How will we raise them?  And now with that dream coming true its just the start of many more dreams and goals to come.  And although we used to talk about how many children we wanted now its....lets get through having this one first and see from there :)

But here's to our journey ahead becoming a family and watching God be in complete control and supplying all our needs along the way!!
